Job Description : - The CMO will be responsible to strategize & execute a cohesive marketing plan to increase positive brand awareness & consideration across key markets (USA, Europe, India), that align with the business goals of the company. - Setting current and long-term goals for the internal & external marketing team. - Build an obsessive customer-first culture & own the CX function for the brand. - Identify key challenges & goals of the brand - both for online & offline retail, and create a strategy accordingly. - Designing and reviewing the marketing department's budget on a weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual level. - Create a brand & product roadmap as the brand forays into complimentary categories. - Have a core understand of the brand's CRM on the website, marketplaces, and support revenue in improving metrics across the board. - The candidate will have end-to-end ownership of the brand, Advertising, ATL, BTL, CX, PR, Sampling, Brand Partnerships, Content, Creative, Community & Brand Measurement etc. A snapshot of all key tasks & departments is mentioned below. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and is just indicative. PR : - Create an annual PR Calendar - Work with PR Agency/Consultants smartly to build relationships with media, stakeholders, influencers. - Design out-of-the-box strategies/ideas to aim for viral/organic PR. - Ensure brand recognition at awards/lists/recognition across all categories. - Focus on keeping the brand in the news always via founder/business/product/process stories etc. throughout the year - Ensure brand presence in key events via Gifts Partnership, Samplings, Barter Sponsorships etc. BTL, Events & Samplings : - Create an annual BTL Calendar with an Activations/Sampling plan at Wellness Events, Offices, Retail Locations, Popups, Farmers Markets etc. - Have a calendar of events planned for the entire year to reach people & make them try the brand. - Partner with other brands, subscription boxes etc, to include Vahdam samples in their products/orders. - Build strong retail partnerships with relevant chains, health food joints, salad brands etc & place Vahdam in their stores. - Build partnerships with Airlines, Food Delivery Joints & other relevant channels to get consumers to try the brand. - Support the sales team via beautiful brand design at key expos, trade fairs. - Build innovative shippers, gondolas & sampling setup at partner retailers in our key markets. Brand Partnerships : - Build, develop partnership with complementary brands for mutual resource, network sharing and enhance organic reach (Retail Space Sharing, Social Media, Email, Sampling, Couponing, Cross-Promotions, Co-Branded Launches etc). - Build partnerships with key retail partners I.e yoga clubs, gyms, wellness centers for strategic brand placement. - Build relationships with TV Segments, Networks, QVC & similar concepts - Identify unique brand partnership opportunities. - Partner/Feature the brand at key media properties across US, Europe & India. - Feature the brand in key influencer-driven gifting guides globally. - Identify Key Top-Level Celebrities/Influencers to Invest/Endorse the brand. - Partner with Brands/Distributors to place the brand at relevant locations. Creatives : - Follow the comprehensive brand book with guidelines on creatives/communication for the brand - Ensure brand guidelines being followed in creatives across every single touch-point of the brand i.e packaging, social media, online-offline promotional material, events, expos, popups, merchandise etc. - Build a pipeline of high-quality ads for the brand's D2C platform via excessive A/B Testing, data, being on trend & innovating. - Build a strong team of content & creative specialists. Influencers : - Build a network/database of nano, micro, macro & celebrity influencers - Consistently build relationships via new product sampling, event invites etc. - Hold Monthly Influencer Training Events to educate & engage with our products - Track & measure reach, revenue & overall impact. Social Media : - Build & the company progress on key social media platforms i.e Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest etc. - Track & grow key metrics i.e Engagement & Followers - Track Revenue & Organic Reach Generated - Take Content & Thought Leadership on Social Field Marketing : - Support the entire offline sales team via in-store demos & other field marketing activities. - Plan, Strategies & Execute the in-store Field Marketing Calendar for the company. - Execute innovating marketing strategies to create a pull for the brand in stores. - Ensure effective merchandising of the brand's products in all stores across key markets. - Identify new tech-first marketing platforms for driving in store sales. Customer Experience/Service : - Manage the overall Customer Experience for the brand across platforms i.e website, marketplaces, social Media & all touchpoints for the brand. - Build a proper channel to track, manage, all customer tickets & their redressal. - Hold weekly/daily reviews to track SLAs. - Ensure world-class & personalized customer experience representing the brand. Community : - Build the company's 'Holistic Wellness' community. - Integrate the marketing strategy to build a set of loyal & engaged customers & brand evangelists. - Integrate all funnels to build a loyal list of engaged community members - Plan activities for the community to build engagement. - Build a Strategic Business Unit and work on a long term strategy to build a content/media asset for the brand. Content : - Build an active, engaging blog with high-quality content. - Build a wellness-driven community around the brand via Facebook Groups & other channels. - Use content to build a strong top-funnel for the brand across channels & regions - Use content as a key awareness driver for the brand. CSR Program : - Build on our brand promise of 'do well by doing well' - Use our CSR programs to help build brand awareness & educate consumers. - Scale the brand's flagship TEAch ME program via partnerships & on-ground execution. - Take Initiative & build a path to zero carbon & plastic footprint for the brand over the next few years. - Lead the ESG program for the brand. Brand Measurement/Lift Study : - Work with agencies to do quarterly/bi-annual brand lift studies across key markets. - Have a date-oriented approach to all our brand marketing initiatives.
