Job Description: - Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief of Staff (COS) is a high-visibility strategic team member and thought leader that leads the coordination and strategic alignment of diverse Business Functions. The incumbent is responsible for streamlining high-importance projects and conducting leadership level internal and external initiatives that have a very significant impact on the company's business objectives. - As a strategist, consultant and implementer, the successful candidate will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the CEO. Roles and Responsibilities Executive Support : - Chief of Staff plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization's President, CEO or other executive. - Participates with the CEO/President and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making. - Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives assigned by the CEO/President. - Researches and recommends new and revised policies and strategies. - Creates and maintains systems and processes to streamline operations. - Establishes standards and procedures for hiring and managing the office staff and personnel for the CEO/President. - Maintains accurate confidential files and data records. - Operate at a tactical, strategic and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility. - Develop and assemble organizational annual goals, measure progress and provide updates to stakeholders. - Develop presentations and communications to the organization. - Monitor for and identify priorities that require senior leadership focus. - Connect teams that are working on similar initiatives.
