Sales & Profitability
- In-depth analysis of the strengths and weaknesses per store, utilizing the financial profit and loss reports and provide corrective action plans.
- Optimize Sales potential through effective use of available commercial information
- Guide Zonal Retail Manager and Area Retail Manager & Retail Operations managers with the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses per store action plan for profitability growth. (Top line & Bottom Line).
Maximize productivity targets ( sales per sqft, Conversion etc)
Retail & Operational Standards
- Conduct effective communication sessions with the respective teams in regard to sales targets and performance.
- Retail SOP Creation/ Documentation & Implementation.
- Responsible for Top line initiatives at Stores.
- Ensure ZM/ARM/SM monitor store administration systems to maximize operational efficiency.
- Suggest improvements based on benchmark practices
- Market & Competitive Analysis.
- Planning & setting up new stores.
Inventory Management & Stock Distribution
- Ensure effective Inventory and Warehouse management for the Business.
- Inventory management & Stock Distribution,
- Stock consolidation, Order, Movement and transfer,
- Optimum stock utilization, stock return
- Damage, Shrinkage/Loss prevention.
- Review and analyze stock and sales reports monitoring over and under stocks, implementing corrective action for the same.
- Review and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary action
- Ensure pricing of merchandise as per norms
- Provision of monthly feedback to the Country Head on sales, stock positions and product feedback
Store Design & Projects Management
- Provide guidance and support, to territory, during set-up and merchandising phase
- Agree allocation of concept space with Country Head and the projects team.
- Ensure effective store layouts with regard to sales versus space contributions
Manpower Development & People Management
- Manage and support recruitment and development of talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support
- Staff Training & mentoring
- Identify store training and development needs
- Monitor Performance Management of staff by the store & operations manager.
- Ensure regular in-store communication and training sessions are conducted as per concept guidelines.
