V2 Retail - AGM/DGM - Production

- Responsible for all operations for smooth functioning of the Unit.

- To ensure achievement of production targets for the unit within the cost, time and quality norms.

- To ensure coordination amongst various areas of production, technical, quality, etc.

- Follow up of production plan from cutting to sewing and achieving targeted line efficiency.

- Make sure product quality is in accordance with standards laid down by the buyer.

- To provide manufacturing expertise to the Production team and ensure implementation of cost reduction/efficiency improvement through process changes/improvements

- To ensure timely preparation of production plans in line with the available capacity and marketing requirements.

- To ensure proper upkeep of manufacturing facility to achieve machine availability, efficiency utilization norms.

- Understand and shape the company's production strategy, customer, brand positioning and long term plans

- Define the process of Optimizing inventory, resources & production process to achieve the goal of reducing the production cost

- To work to setup new production units to achieve company objective of enhancing contribution of private label

- Formulate & Schedule production plan to ensure meeting service & cost requirement

- Closely work with product development team to monitor new products and proactively adjust production & execute strategy

- Prepare and release MIS for review and tactical meetings by presenting previous months/weeks master & level of adherence from units

- Forecast the capability required for meeting existing and future orders and take necessary steps in bridging the gaps through resource re-allocation, training and capacity building

- Putting controls and checks in supply chain and operations so that benchmarks related with quality, time and wastage are met at all levels

- Review Production trends through MIS analysis and apprise management about the health of Production and Operations on weekly basis so as to take timely actions in consultation with them

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to bring about standardization, system and process orientation in Production and Operations.
