Primary responsibilities: - Complete business ownership of the Online channel for V Mart Retail, leveraging cross functional support from all parts of the business - Maintaining & visualizing for execution the growth strategy for the omni channel in conjunction with the business plans of the company - Complete control over operations for the Online channel through stores and marketplace operations & other future online growth initiatives - Managing and controlling all parts of the marketplace & online business, including but not limited to : a) Business Planning b) Team Management c) Product Assortment, merchandising, cataloguing d) UI/UX management and optimisation e) Working with Marketing team to drive customer traction f) Customer Care Management g) Logistics Management h) Payment Gateway management i) Partner Management (marketplace & other platform providers) j) Technology improvements and optimisations in coordination with platform providers k) Insights Management through GA & other 3rd party tools l) KPI monitoring and reporting m) Cost Controls & P/L Delivery n) Future investments and ROI delivery Role: - Managing the P&L for the online retail channel, delivering on short term and long term plans, including delivery against budget - Maximising online sales performance through effective day to day adaptations of the site, increasing conversion, promotional activity and minimising customer bounce rates. - Making tactical changes within the team to adapt to market conditions, ensuring the business are at the forefront of the industry and gaining competitive advantage at every opportunity. - Leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns. - Optimizing channels and campaigns for cost and performance managing both the cost of traffic and cost of acquisition - Landing page and funnel optimization (working with revenue and digital product teams) to improve relevance and improve conversion rates. - Develop effective marketing communication by understanding product portfolio and offerings working with category teams. - Ideate & conceptualize new marketing and communication ideas resulting in marketing effectiveness. - Build long term digital assets such as organic search engine ranking, email subscriber base, app installs, content microsites, high performance creative etc. - Ensuring display marketing strategies with the help of catalogue, content and creative team. - Ensuring smooth execution of logistics operations with minimum Turnaround time. - Work with internal fulfilment team to track, problem solves issues. Assist in ideating and implementing new processes to prevent issues and improve operations - Managing Customer Service and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. - Analyzing customer complaints and implementation of processes accordingly.
