We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Category Business Head to lead a number of high-impact categories at our Jodhpur office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the P&L, driving user engagement, and ensuring delivery excellence by leading cross-functional collaboration across content, product, delivery, and growth teams.
As a Category Head, you will play a key role in shaping our educational offerings, enhancing student outcomes, and scaling business performance through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Category Ownership & Strategy
- Develop and implement the category roadmap in alignment with business goals and student success metrics.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work with Product, Content, Tech, Sales, and Delivery teams to implement and expand category initiatives.
- Prioritize and execute high-impact projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
Data-Driven Growth
- Use analytics to evaluate category performance, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
- Continuously optimize offerings through improvements in pedagogy, content design, and user experience.
Product & Process Improvement
- Use student feedback and usage data to enhance the learning journey.
- Innovate and improve category-specific product offerings and delivery models.
Operational Excellence
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions for category development and delivery.
- Set up metrics and governance frameworks for execution tracking and team alignment.
Requirements
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate from a top-tier institute (IIT/IIM/NIT or equivalent preferred).
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in EdTech, Product, Operations, or Category Management.
- A proven track record of managing large-scale categories or products with measurable success.
- Strong business acumen with a problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup-like environment.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
