Job Description: Lead - Talent Acquisition
Location: Chennai / Hyderabad
Work mode: Work rom office (6 days a week)
Reporting to: Head of Talent Acquisition
Job Objective
We seek an accomplished Talent Acquisition Leader to drive strategic hiring initiatives and oversee end-to-end recruitment for mid-senior to leadership roles. You will lead a team of TA professionals, design scalable talent strategies, and ensure alignment with Urbanrise's rapid growth, targeting quality closures while fostering a robust talent pipeline for future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment for Sales, Marketing, CRM verticals, for mid-senior and leadership roles, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Ensuring TA alignment with organizational goals and scaling processes to support business expansion.
- Partner with C-suite and business heads to anticipate talent needs, design role-specific sourcing strategies, and influence hiring decisions for critical roles.
- Optimize recruitment workflows to reduce time-to-hire by 30-40%, leveraging automation tools, data analytics, and market insights.
- Mentor and lead a team of recruiters, setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Provide actionable insights on talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor analysis to guide hiring strategies.
- Elevate offer-to-join ratios (90%+) through personalized engagement, onboarding support, and post-joining feedback mechanisms.
- Develop dashboards to track KPIs (e.g., cost-per-hire, attrition rates, source efficacy) and present monthly TA performance reviews to the executive board.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 B-Schools (preferred). Certifications in HR/TA strategy or leadership are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition (Preferably in non-IT domain), with 4+ years in handling leadership hiring (real estate, infrastructure, or construction experience preferred).
- Proven track record of closing niche roles across mid-senior levels and managing high-performing TA teams.
- Expertise in diverse sourcing channels and headhunting and familiar with new tools and trends in TA.
- Strong business acumen with exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills.
