About the role: A Furniture or Industrial Designer with 3 - 4 years of experience, with the ability to take ownership of projects. They should be able to drive Design Research (Market & Customer insights) and articulate their findings in a cohesive manner. They should have a good working knowledge of Materials and be able to do Product Selection as well as Design products themselves. They should also have basic understanding of manufacturing processes. Must haves: - Softwares : ACAD and SketchUp (or its equivalent) - 3 - 4 yrs experience in the industry - Furniture/Product Design - Conduct Research to understand the Market and the target Customer - Good Material knowledge - Understands the structure of a product. - Can communicate and articulate ideas and concepts - Portfolio of their previous work. Good to haves : - Some manufacturing experience, getting products made (could include wardrobes/kitchens) - Has a good sense of Aesthetics, Proportion & Dimensions.
