Job Responsibility / Ownership of Sales' Margin Planning: - Planning sales by season, months, and weeks to drive Merchandise KPI's - Turnover, ASP, Margin (Intake & Markdown) & Inventory. - Analysing regional market trends, discovering new opportunities for growth, and initiating a complete overhaul of the value brands. - Building a sustainable profitability model based on YOY growth by delivering effective Sell Out Rates. - Synergize the plan with operations on L-to-L growth & New Stores and incorporate the same in Merchandise Planning. New Collections' Assortment: - Brief Design team on the upcoming season requirement by sharing detailed New Product's launch plan. - Review Paper Collection, Prototypes and Select products for New Seasons across categories. - Work with Costing & Sourcing on the drop plan by month. - Synergize the range with Operations & Marketing to decide on Marketing Campaigns. - Fix the range by Store Clusters to make sure healthy Assortment is allocated across Gender & Price Points depending on the market. Involvement with Finance, Costing, Sourcing & Logistics: - Work closely with costing to ensure the margin deliverable and Pricing. - Work with Finance Team on Markdown Budgets by Year & Month. - Align monthly forecast with sourcing to ensure the capacities and intake with timely deliveries. - Work with Logistics to ensure the intake is aligned with the weekly dispatches from warehouse to stores. Requirements (Must Have) - - 10+ years of relevant experience in Buying & Merchandising - Good understanding of the manufacturing processes, materials and know how to communicate with suppliers for low MOQs - High understanding of fabric quality under specific GSMs and the after-treatments for a required finish - Excellent vendor management skills, juggling with several vendors and varying product services - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as good analytical skills - Proficient in all common Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel - Experience in the fast fashion e-commerce space is preferred - Interest in Western Fashion and open to working independently without a lot of oversight - Strong work ethic is non negotiable
