About the Role:

The candidate should have 5-6 years of experience in tax (Direct Tax & Indirect Tax) regulatory & compliance services.

The role will be responsible for ensuring all taxation compliances are met on time with high standards.

What you'll do:

India

- Knowledge of laws applicable to ecommerce company;

- Undertaking compliances under the Goods and Service Tax (GST) laws;

- Research on various tax issues to resolve tax matters and queries of Finance Team;

-Evaluate positions for the Company on any new update/ amendment

-Liasion with CII/ DPIIT for necessary changes in the law

- Periodic reviews to ascertain compliance with various requirements of the GST laws;

- Support to oversight and prepare relevant workings for various tax assessments in indirect and direct tax

- Responsible for tax audit, filing of income tax returns

- Responsible for deferred tax workings and tax note disclosure in financial statements;

- Hustle and get things done attitudes.

International :

- Understanding of transfer pricing rules;

- Responsible for sales tax compliance in International geographies

- Responsible for tax filing in each geographies

- Responsible for WHT compliances in all geographies

- Evaluate tax positions at the time of launch of new geography/ amendments

- Taxability of ESOP in International geographies

What we'll need:

- 5-6 years' experience in Tax. Qualified Chartered Accountant only.

- Should be thorough with Direct and Indirect taxation - India and International.

- Knowledge of laws applicable to ecommerce company

- Good interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with all levels within the organization

- Unquestioned personal integrity with strong ethics and values consistent with UC culture

- Well-developed technical proficiency IT environment, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
