About the Team

The CMI team at Urban Company is a part of the larger Marketing team, that exists to translate business goals into insightful, inspiring and memorable consumer facing interventions, ranging from the Urban Company app to 360O marketing campaigns. This team is a strategic insight & creative engine that powers growth across all business lines across the geographies. Operating in a hyper-growth environment, the CMI Team's collective personal goal is to fast-track growth for the company, by unlocking actionable insights and consumer knowledge.

About the role

This role is seeking an entry-level consumer insight professional to organize and contribute data-led insights to influence and shape the future of the Urban Company brand, marketing and user experience. This role is responsible for research project management to facilitate business growth. This role reports to the Manager, Consumer insights

What you'll do ?

- Liaise with external market research agencies for day-to-day execution of research studies. 1)Become an invaluable insights resource for studies covering a variety of topics: brand health and strategy, advertising measurement, consumer attitudes and usage

- Assist the Manager in end-to-end project management, including (but not limited to):

1) Maintaining up-to-date knowledge repository of all the research work being conducted

2) Managing commercials for all projects (PO Generation, vendor payment released on time)

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for their research requirements

- Collaborate internally to ensure intelligence is presented and shared with appropriate groups and individuals

- Find opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools/dashboards

1) Work closely with analytics colleagues OR research suppliers to develop, operationalize and manage dashboards

What are we looking for:

- 1-2 years of experience in marketing/market research/insights

- Experience working with a fast-paced FMCG, Tech or ecommerce company preferred

- Or experience at a research agency managing accounts of FMCG/tech/ecommerce companies

- Experience working with primary quantitative market research data, preferred

- Foundational understanding of branding, advertising (traditional and digital), marketing concepts and strategy

- Intellectually curious and analytically rigorous, strong attention to detail

- A sense of urgency, a proactive approach

- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

- Exemplary interpersonal skills, relationship building and teamwork

- Exceptional project management; strong planner and problem solver
