UPL - Procurement Strategist - Chemicals

End to end Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

- Managing end to end Procurement of Globally managed Active Ingredients (AIs) withing the category

- Developing Global AI Strategy documents for key AIs within the category

- Ensuring timely availability of quality materials

- Negotiation with suppliers based on forecast

- Supporting development of new AIs for NPD launch

Supplier Relationship Management

- Managing relationship with existing suppliers

- Legal interface with suppliers for executing contracts

- New suppliers development on need basis

CoGS improvement & Working capital

- Execution of CoGS improvement projects in line with long term strategy for the key AIs

- Management of inventory and payables to meet Working capital target

Required Education and Skill Set:

- Preferably Chemistry Graduate with MBA in Supply Chain Management

- Total experience of 10 to 12 years out of which 5 years preferably with Agro / Chemical industry background in Strategic Sourcing / Category Management

- Should have a knowledge and experience of Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Agro Supplier Base

- Should have a strong negotiation skill, stakeholder management, Communication and inter- personal skills
