About The Role

This job opening is for a Pre-sales Solutions Consultant - within the upGrad for Business PreSales team. We work with leading enterprises in IT, Consulting, Utilities, Pharma, Retail, PR, and GCCs and provide customized learning solutions across Data, Tech, Management, and Leadership Development. Our vision is to be the wholesome talent development partner for our customers.

In this role, you will be closely working with the Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions team to provide a comprehensive solution to clients and assist in the production of RFP/RFQ


- Will be responsible for transferring product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal, and presentation skills; Assists in account planning and helps sales & Customer growth team to close the deals.

- Provide consulting to customers on the best possible solutions to meet their upskilling and reskilling needs through upGrad for Business solutions, thereby helping them achieve business outcomes.

- Should be able to drive responses and answers for RFPs, RFIs, and RFOs, with proposals and other relevant collaterals.

- Study the needs of the customers in multiple markets and work with the product team to build necessary solutions enabling upGrad for Business to implement in those markets.

- Being abreast of industry best practices.

- Help the Sales and Customer Growth team to close the new opportunities.

- Ability to quickly build a good rapport with clients.


- 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology (SaaS) industry, with a minimum of 3 years in Presale's solutions consulting experience.

- Excellent business process and best practices experience.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting with high proficiency in English.

- Proactive and independent, self-learning skills are a must.

- Global experience, proven ability to operate via multicultural organizations.


- Prior experience working in a startup environment

- Prior solutioning experience in learning and edtech solutions is a plus.

- Prior experience as developer or BA and moved to Presales Solution Consultant role
