The Job Overview : The YouTube marketer will oversee the promotion of our YouTube channel and individual videos to ensure they align with the company's overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and launching a YouTube channel, conducting research regarding our target audience as well as the audiences of our competition, and optimizing videos to ensure maximum views. Additional responsibilities include title creation to generate greater impact, maximizing exposure through the use of SEO and thumbnail selection, increasing the number of subscribers, and leveraging videos across other social media platforms for more views. Roles & Responsibilities : Below are some of the responsibilities a YouTube marketer is expected to assume in their position : - Define and implement channel strategy, including long-term goals, go-to-market strategies, and key performance indicators within YouTube's search engine - Manage channel content, including live-stream events, digital media assets, social media marketing campaigns, and owned/earned/paid media - Create, maintain, and promote channel content, including videos and other assets - Develop and oversee channel community, including channel moderators, marketing managers, and network of channel partners - Manage and enforce channel policies and guidelines - Supervise channel operations, including staffing, facilities, and equipment - Develop channel marketing strategy and implement tactics, including paid and organic search, social, and display advertising - Manage channel communications, including social media, blogs, and other owned/earned/paid media - Oversee channel business analytics, including reporting, analysis, and optimization - Develop and implement channel budget Job Qualifications and Skill Sets : Below are the qualifications expected of a YouTube marketer : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in digital marketing, communications, ecommerce, or related field - 5-8 years of experience in marketing, preferably at an agency or in-house - Expert knowledge of social media marketing, including paid and organic channels - Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Creative eye for design and video content - Excellent time management and project management skills - Ability to work independently and do team management Location - Bangalore (Work from Office)
