About the role :

The incumbent ('Senior Manager- Audit') will be responsible for building and managing the Audit function from creating the policies and setting up the standard operating procedure (SOP) for Management Audit with direct focus on Process, People, Technology and Systems to ensure smooth functioning and management of day-to-day operations. He/She will be required to audit the above on a regular basis from a management perspective to identify gaps resulting in efficiency/ revenue loss for the company.

Job Description :

- Drafting, Designing and Evaluating / Reviewing / Monitoring the 'Internal Controls' regularly by preparing Audit SOP's based on the requirements of the organization.

- Preparation of 'Process Charts' for key functions & identifying the 'Red Flags' by regular analysis of data, records, reports and statements.

- Preparation of Annual Audit Plan / Calendar for all functions/departments by ensuring completion of audit assessment and review on time.

- Preparing Checklist & Circulating to process owners for effective control management.

- Periodic visit to factory / site locations and responsible for preparation of Internal Audit Reports and presentation of to Audit Committee every quarter.

- Reviewing adherence to compliance with Company Policies & Procedures.

- Conduct regular internal audit of process and functions to identify the risks and resolve the issues.

- Strong follow up skills on Implementation of Mutually Agreed Critical Audit Findings and ensuring corrective measures are implemented to achieve desired results.

- Co-ordination with External Audit Agencies & Statutory Auditors.

- Implementation of best industry audit practices and systems into the audit programs.

- Train and mentor audit assistants and other audit staff.

Desired Candidate Profile :

# CA (preferred) with 6-10+ years of prior audit work-experience in a manufacturing company.

# Should have sound knowledge of auditing concepts and principles with knowledge of current changes and/or developments applicable to, state, local laws in a manufacturing setup.

# Ability to develop and implement audit process, plans and schedules.

# Knowledge of record keeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards.

# Ability to motivate others and promote teamwork.

# Should have prior relevant experience in coordination with the management to take necessary action on audit findings.
