Senior Consultant- Strategy
Job Title: Senior Consultant - Strategy Consulting
- The Senior Consultant will be a part of a strategy consulting team and will be required to lead the day-to-day execution of a client project along with guiding and developing team members.
- You will work directly with the clients under the guidance of senior management and will be required to take ownership of the project.
- You will be expected to assist in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, produce executive presentation material, and demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope; develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope
- Gather, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, draw conclusions, and develop strategic recommendations
- Perform rigorous strategic, operational and financial analyses to pinpoint appropriate, practical recommendations for clients
- Synthesize overall strategy by analysing a wide variety of solutions, to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs
- Collaborate with team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on the data and analyses
- Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement case and strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results
- Drive implementation of recommendations
- Develop and manage strong working relations with project and client teams
EXPERIENCE, CORE SKILLS:
- 3+ years' experience in management consulting or related industry
- Good functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, product development, project management, marketing and sales, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to conduct client interviews, participate in workshops/trainings and present recommendations
- Analytical thinking- ability to perform detailed, quantitative analysis and research (primary and secondary). Synthesize and present insights and recommendations from data
- Logical structuring: have a structured approach to problem solving
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering and Masters, MBA
- Preferred location - Mumbai
