Universal Consulting - Senior Consultant - Life Science

As a Senior Consultant, you will be involved in formulating and executing market assessments, product strategies, product and service launches, field force effectiveness, therapy management programs, market access and pricing including regulatory and reimbursement, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, benchmarking, strategic planning, program management in Pharmaceuticals/ Biotechnology/ Medical Technology and Diagnostics.

The individual should be able to leverage his/her experience, provide direction to the team members and also be involved in project execution with the client. Working under the guidance of Senior Managers, senior consultants are responsible for:

- Participation in setting engagement objectives and scope; develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope.

- Performing rigorous strategic, operational and financial analyses to pinpoint appropriate, practical recommendations for clients.

- Synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs.

- Designing deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement case and client needs and strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results.

- Collaborating with team members to derive trends, conclusions and recommendations based on the data and analyses.

- Transforming information into thoughtful insights regarding the client's strategic direction.

- Driving implementation of recommendations.

- Managing and working with large diverse implementation teams.

- Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team (demonstrating patience and poise under pressure)

- Must demonstrate willingness to work overtime when required.

QUALIFICATIONS :

PhD or MSc in Life science, Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Pharmacology/ Microbiology

MBBS/BDS, MBA

EXPERIENCE :

- 5+ years of Life Science consulting and/or industry experience is required.

- Experience in a top tier management consulting firm
