Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all aspects of the strategy planning & execution of global service delivery and support of world class Enterprise Data Management services; with focus on the delivery and support of Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Data Mart technologies and other capabilities with the - Digital Transformation with the Data @ the Core- as the primary consideration

- Responsible for development of strategy, roadmap and business collaboration as related to Data management support

- The position will lead the development of information standards, procedures, and work closely with various LOBs to collect, prepare, organize, protect and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices.

- Manage data teams and multiple complex projects; responsible for project work plans which determine the Line of Business (LoB) needs by selecting and applying appropriate approaches, tools and techniques to assess the LOBs

- Design and implement data strategies, along with overseeing the collection, storage, management, quality, and protection of information

- Collaborate with Information Security department to implement data privacy policies and comply with information protection regulations

- Accountable for the establishing design and implementation standards around conceptual, logical and physical data models to support the enterprise information strategies of the organization

- Work directly with IT executive leadership to drive data warehouse & business intelligence strategy

- Work with key data teams to develop an enterprise data warehouse & business intelligence strategy

- Lead 500+ team members (Engineering & Operations, Reporting) across India & integrate into the Enterprise Data Management Division to advance the - ONE TEAM Culture- & to enable / drive Blue Chips / MBOs / Service Excellence & co-create exponential value for UHG

Required Skills / Experience:

- 20+ years of strong implementation experience and deep data management knowledge (Datawarehouse, Business Intelligence, master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling) and in managing data management efforts and project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live

- Proficient in data governance and data management policies, standards and procedures

- Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards

- Ability to strategize / architect an enterprise data management solution (Datawarehouse & Business Intelligence) and provide business, governance and technical recommendations

- Experience with conceptualization, design and assistance in the implementation of new and existing systems, middleware, master data management, metadata, data quality, data warehouse and production architectures

- Experience with Agile data warehouse business intelligence working with business users to define user stories, and deliver incremental business value through execution and refinement

- Broad system-level expertise across multiple computing platforms and technologies with the ability to influence technology direction at the enterprise level

- Strong data engineering skills, particularly with SQL; highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail

- Experience with any of the major business intelligence vendor tools

- Exceptional communication skills and ability to persuade business users to accept and follow best practices and influence change

- Experience with IT Service Management Process & Tools leverage & deployment

- Agile (Scrum / Kanban) & DevOps (including CI/CD Tool Chain)

- Exposure to Application Development, Quality Engineering & Software Engineering would be beneficial
