Job Purpose:
Lead engineering activities across IPD in order to maximize availability of equipment and increase efficiencies.

Major Activities / Tasks
Develop and implement a strategy for the IPD engineering group in order to drive reengineering, efficiency improvement and equipment availability
- Strategize with IPD Head to identify focus areas
- Develop budgets for the IPD engineering team
Lead engineering activities in IPD by providing inputs to complex issues and driving key processes to achieve maximum equipment availability in IPD
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor adherence
- Monitor breakdown maintenance activity, operation of machines, provision of utilities, calibration / validation, installation of machineries, conducting FAT
Ensure compliance to GLP requirements and manage audits conducted by QA, DQA & Finance for smooth operations
- Timely implementation of audit measures
Ensure safety & GLP in the department through trainings, audits and continuous improvement mechanisms to drive a culture of safety within the department
- Create and implement training programs
Guide team members in conducting trend analysis, root cause analysis and FMEA to ensure a successful transition to predictive maintenance
- Train team members and guide them through the process
Skills & Knowledge:
Educational qualifications: B.E. Mechanical / Electrical
