A Largest pvt sector bank is looking for experienced professionals for the role of an Unit Head - DVP / VP - Fund Accounting Operations .

- The ideal candidate needs to be a CA from a reputed institute .

- The mandate is for an Unit Head - DVP / VP - (Fund Accounting Operations) - Mumbai .

Job objective or overall purpose statement :

- Overall supervision of the Units under purview.

- Oversee day to day operations/management of all activities/processes of the unit.

- Error free Operations, Maintaining Quality, Accuracy, Compliance & Risk Management in processing transactions.

- Meeting / Managing Customer Expectations, TAT, Complaints / Queries etc.

Key functional and relational responsibilities :

- Responsible for overall operations of fund accounting across all segments e.g Mutual Fund, Insurance Companies, Portfolio Management Services, Alternate Investment Funds, Private Equity and Pension Funds

- Ensure accurate computation of NAV for the Schemes of the Mutual Fund and Insurance Companies.

- Portfolio appraisal reports for all underlying clients of Portfolio Managers and ultra HNI clients, AUM reporting & servicing AIF clients.

- Back end support for allotment, redemption, put/ call options and buy back of debenture holders of NBFCs as IPA.

- Audits - From Clients auditors, internal, regulatory and others

- To ensure smooth audit, of daily NAV, Quarterly internal and statutory audit by the Clients auditors and SEBI auditors.

- To clarify the audit observations, if any and prepare the annual accounts as specified by the statutory auditors with the necessary schedules.

- Monitoring & Review of Operations / MIS

- Partnering with business for Fund Accounting Services, IPA services and Client servicing

- Interaction with Business, Clients and Service Providers.

- Process Improvements

- To develop process and controls for new business initiatives taken up by the unit.

- Work closely with Product and Technology team on various automation initiatives like front to back automation, automation of manual processes and reports

- Initiate, innovate, modify and implement new products, features and processes to support business requirements and also make workflow changes through project management for cost efficiency and quality improvement

- Regular review of operations manual to incorporate / update new processes and amendments in regulatory guidelines.
