Unit Head - Central Surveillance - Off Site Review Team - Bank

Role of Unit Head - Central Surveillance - Off Site Review Team - is to head the on ground surveillance/ operations audit of branches. The objective is to identify operational risk events and ensure corrective action by conducting on site Branch Reviews. The Unit Head would also be responsible for developing the ethos of "First Line of Defence" within the team and also review the effectiveness of processes and provide input and feedback for process designing.

- Develops and implements strategic, tactical and operational surveillance plans, programs and initiatives to align in line with the division's objectives

- Lead a team which conducts Onsite Branch Reviews, thematic reviews and Branch Operational Risk Management (BORM) Tracker Assessment

- Drives on ground surveillance/ operation audits of branches

- Governs implementation of risk-related policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks) for the department, ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal control requirements
