Unit Finance & Commercial Head - Female - (Diversity Candidates)

To plan, review and organize efficient & effective management of finances, systems & procedures in commercial & financial functions to enable management controls for achieving targeted financial results, with effective implementation of MIS, taxation, budgeting, insurance, legal & statutory requirements for smooth operation of the Unit, associated grinding units & bulk terminals.

Strategy and Planning:

- Part of development of strategy at the unit Level and to plan the actions for sustainable growth of the IU, GU & BT

Cost Optimization and Planning & Budgeting:

- Identify & monitor Key Value Drivers to optimize variable & fixed costs, Benchmarking with group units & industry peers, Identify logistics integration opportunities for IU, GU & BT.

Financial and Working Capital Management-

- Ensure financial discipline in accordance with SOPs & DOP, Effective inventory control & fund management to optimize working capital.

Materials Management

For effective and efficient operation of plants -

a) Planning of requirement, coordinating & organizing for procurement of raw materials (only corrective materials), stores & spares having value < 12 lakhs per PR and service contract / capex having value upto 2 cr.(As per delegation manual)

b) Coordinate with central procurement cell for the material in their scope including fuel, imported materials, imported raw materials, red mud etc.

Audit and Legal Compliance:

- Co-ordinate with internal or external auditor and government agencies for getting approvals, clearances and statutory compliances.

- Compliance, System improvement and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives, WCM (ABOF), IMS or other systems etc. in all the section.

People Management & Development:

To build & sustain a conductive work culture within department to improve productivity, growth & improvements in department performance for overall objective of unit along with motivating employees to institutionalize for bring innovation, creativity, best practices to replicate in the Unit by effective management of people for development of them.

Qualification: CA is Mandatory
