MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Commercial Finance Analyst will support the Global Commercial Manager in providing WTS with commercial performance management information and in-depth value adding commercial analysis. You will provide the data and analysis to underpin world class cost management of our third-party global Facilities Management contracts and global spend, budget management and forecasting as well as analysis supporting Zero Based Budgeting process and joint business cost planning with Service Delivery teams in clusters.

JOB SUMMARY :

- Supporting with roll out of new third-party FM contracts including input into commercial management process and terms

- Commercial management of third-party contracts including cost control, actual cost tracking, administration of performance schemes

- Completing analysis of cost saving opportunities for joint business planning cluster packs

- Administration of end to end cost data that underpins cost optimisation work and lean analysis run by our Global Lean and Operational Excellence Lead

- Planning and control of capital expenditure, coordinating submissions across cluster service delivery teams to optimise and spend and return on investment

- Build and maintain positive working relationship with colleagues; partners, suppliers and service providers and other key stakeholders

- Act as trusted advisor to the Workplace Leadership team on commercial matters, bringing both financial and commercial acumen aligned with a deep understanding of the Workplace Strategy and agenda to ensure successful outcomes

- In partnership with the Contract Management Office, be the go-to person on WTS commercial contractual matters. Share expertise with colleagues to enable understanding, appreciation and risk management of all changes to existing and future operational contracts.

- Data Manager for the Financial Management system -

- Set up and down the monthly workflow on actuals, consumption data & contractual changes. Review and analysis along with the suppliers, SMEs & Contract Managers

- BAU interface with the technology partner team

- Review and ensure the user permissions and roles are accurately allocated on an ongoing basis across Unilever and Supplier service delivery teams

- Support with queries on data protection and GDPR regulations

KEY REQUIREMENTS :

Experience:

- 5+ years commercial finance experience in the development of business cases, budgeting and general financial management

- Experience or knowledge about best practices, contracting methods, SLAs, KPIs, etc;

- Excellent excel skills are a requirement for this role

- Experience in data collection, conducting analyses and identifying cost savings opportunities that underpin cost optimisation programs

- Experience in supporting the execution of new programs and processes.

- Experience of working in a global matrixed organisation desirable

- Developed interpersonal and relationship building skills Engagement and results orientated

- Experience in Corporate Real Estate ad/or relevant experiences in supporting HRS, Workplaces, Finance, IT and other critical service delivery operations is desirable;

- Experience in management of third party service provider relationships

- Experience in engaging key senior level stakeholders at a corporate level

- Ability to influence and manage relationships with multiple stakeholder

- Organised and able to prioritise in an evolving and changing context

- Experience in managing multiple activities at the same time.
