Unifrax - Deputy Manager - Sales (5-13 yrs)
The incumbent is expected to perform the duties Living the Unifrax Values of Safety, Ethics, People, Commitment, Customer Focus, Innovation, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, and Speed and Agility.
1. Sell Company's products (new and existing).
2. Service all customers, developing new accounts, maintaining accounts
3. Promote sales of specific accounts.
4. Achieve assigned sales program for Fiberfrax products in the assigned territory; operate within assigned expense budget and achieve new product sales program.
5. Train new personnel.
6. Sales forecasting by month and quarter; gathering competitive information.
7. Territory planning (call pattern, new product/customer prospects).
8. Management of distribution channels; serve on Distribution Advisory Board.
9. Advise Company management of significant market information. Report new product ideas.
10. Implement specific sales and marketing projects ( i.e., pilot program).
11. Price authorization for specific sales territory. May serve on sales advisory council.
12. Typically, a Deputy Manager - Sales position is distinguished by larger sales territory, consistent leadership in new products and new market sales, and length of service.
13. Uses the Adaptive Coaching process for communication, goal alignment, problem solving, and career planning.
Qualifications:
1. B.S. in an engineering discipline desired; advanced business degree also desired.
2. Four years previous sales experience in industrial markets selling through distributors required.
3. Prior work experience in product management or application engineering is desired. Previous management of a sales territory is required. Understanding of total quality management programs, statistical process controls in manufacturing, and defining customer requirements.
4. Thorough knowledge of Company's products is required.
5. An understanding of pricing and ordering structures; product, technical and application data; competitive products and
applications; blueprint reading; and industrial product knowledge is required.
6. Knowledge of petrochemical, aluminum, steel, ceramic, heat treating and other processes and markets we serve.
7. Territory management skills: channel of distribution, interterritory cooperation, planning and communication
Candidates from Thermal industrial equipment/industries, Steel, Aluminium, ceramics, Rubber, Chemical industries preferred
