Role of Chief Risk Officer Unifi Capital, one of Indias leading Portfolio Management Firms, is looking to bring on board an experienced capital market professional with a keen and holistic sense of risk management relevant to its various thematic fund offerings. Responsibilities include - Develop and Implement a risk management framework to identify, assess and manage potential risks relating to the fund as a whole as well as key investee companies held in the fund. - Undertake an independent ongoing review of the portfolio construction and the main positions held in order to provide a qualitative risk assessment to the Investment Committee on a periodical basis. - Formulate dynamic dashboards in the company Intranet that will facilitate tracking and mapping of portfolio level risks arising from variables like interest rate, currency, inflation, commodities price movements etc. The essence of investing is to manage risk and each analyst and fund manager at Unifi is focused on it. The risk manager is hence expected to complement these ongoing efforts of the entire fund management team by doing an independent risk review which would aid in better decision making. Knowledge of Indian capital markets, strong analytical and good communication skills are pre-requisites. Candidates with prior experience of working with fund managers / CIOs will be preferred. Compensation will be commensurate to experience and on par with industry standards.
