Uni Club - Finance Manager - UniCards (4-8 yrs)
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Takes the lead on relevant initiatives proposed by the CFO and supports in implementing new projects or new processes across the organization
- Leads day to day financial operations including payments, reconciliations with payment networks and gateways
- Prepare MIS for presenting to CEO and Board
- Leads Uni Cards' month-end closing functions and lead continuous improvement efforts on this
- Identifies and recommends necessary changes in accounting to meet growing business needs.
- Ensures that chart of accounts is in line with accounting standards, group standards and legal requirements
- Actively supports other departments with accounting related matters and manages new projects
- Prepares and manages filing of direct and indirect tax returns
- Prepare financial statements according to Indian accounting standards.
- Maintain relationships with third parties including Big 4 auditors and tax authorities
- Manages legal and treasury operations as per the company mandate
Experience and Skills required :
- Certified CA, First attempt will be preferred.
- 4+ years of experience including leading an accounting team or Managership
- Being able to work and make decisions under tight deadlines and ambiguity
- Strong track record of process and business project improvements
- Strong leadership and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge and practice of accounting standards
