Role : Underwriter / Senior Underwriter / AM

Job Location : Kuwait

Profile : Treaty Reinsurance Underwriter

Accommodation : No permanent accommodation will be provided

Experience : 5 to 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities :

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

- Reviewing new and renewal submissions; preparing detailed risk analysis and submit to underwriter with recommendations

- Compiling and validating cedant renewal information to be in line with underwriting guidelines and reporting anomalies to underwriter

- Ascertaining that all documentation complies with Department guidelines and authority levels to ensure that it passes all audits.

- Gathering and assessing all information regarding the reinsured and the broker.

- Assist Underwriters in developing underwriting strategy and business plans.

- Address issues raised by Finance and Claims Department on the underwritten business.

- Managing relationships with existing and prospective clients and brokers

- Assist in quoting various treaties.

- Reviewing bound cover notes terms and conditions.

- Ability to explain the underwriting to the clients.

- Keeping full record of policies underwritten and decision made
