What do you contribute? Senior Finance executive-Revenue We are looking for an experienced chartered accountant with excellent accounting skills to handle and evaluate day-to-day revenue activities. The Sr. finance executive is also expected to have strong analytical and reporting skills and should be able to work directly with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing and other functions) to understand and operationalize the requirements and also external stakeholders (auditors, bankers, investors etc) Responsibilities - Read, analyze, and interpret revenue related documents and contracts and recognise revenue and account as per applicable accounting policies. - Recognize problems, gather data, draw valid conclusions and effectively present information to management and stake holders - Closely interact with customers towards billing, collections and reconciliations. - Perform various revenue, deferred revenue, balance sheet and customer account reconciliations and analysis. - Perform review of revenue contracts, SOWs and other legal documents to ensure alignment with the company Revenue policies &amp; applicable accounting policies. - Collaborate with Sales and Order Management teams to ensure Revenue Sales orders are booked, fulfilled and accounted appropriately. - Participate in the monthly/quarterly accounting close cycle which includes review and release of Revenue sales orders in the revenue accounting system to ensure order related data accuracy and proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 accounting standards - Manage External audit and reviews - Initiate &amp; drive process improvements or automation, system enhancement projects as and when required. Basic Qualification - Chartered accountant with 1-2 years post qualification experience (Preferably from Big4 experience) - Advanced user in Microsoft Excel and proficient other MS Office tools for managing data and performing quantitative analysis. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
