Unacademy - Senior Manager - Content Growth & Monetization

Unacademy is looking for a Senior Manager - Growth to help Unacademy grow its YouTube distribution. This person will need to be adept at co-ordinating growth efforts across multiple categories and indirect supervision of any embedded support roles (from teams such as design).

Role Responsibilities :

- Devise and implement audience development strategies both on and off YouTube to increase viewing and subscriber numbers. A specific focus should be to grow audience in categories with the most effective commercial return.

- Work with YouTube channel managers across our most important categories to ensure execution of most critical initiatives to drive growth

- Ensure sufficient supply of video clips either from in-house or from third-party sources. This will involve regular tracking of inputs from our partners, working with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery and collaborating with internal teams to create relevant in-house inventory

- Ensure promotions of our features and brands across channels, working in collaboration with category stakeholders

- Host regular brainstorming sessions with category stakeholders to create a slate of original content which complements archive clips and delivers on wider Unacademy objectives.

- Research on what content (Unacademy and other) is performing well on YouTube or other online channels as well as other sites, in order to advise on channels content needs, and generate ideas

- Work with category managers to drive regular engagement of Unacademy communities on external channels

Qualifications & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience growing digital presence, especially on content based platforms such as YouTube

- Data driven, execution focused professionals

- Experience in managing content strategy and quality with an eye for detail

- Experience in managing and growing own YouTube channel is a Plus!
