A. JOB SUMMARY :

Regional Head for both assets and liability business of Unbanked Rural Centres (Branches)

1. Responsible for identification/ setting up URCs in the state

2. Responsible for managing the URC team and achieving budgets

3. Responsible for providing direction to the team in sourcing affluent customers and maintaining relationships

4. Responsible for planning and organizing micro marketing activities for leads and business

5. Responsible for coordinating with SLBC (State Level Bankers Committee), Lead Bank, NABARD and other stakeholders for business and reports to statutory agencies.

6. Responsible for driving sales officers for open market liability (new customers and targeting other bank customers)

7. Responsible for organizing and promoting Farmers Clubs for the URCs and such other innovative marketing activities for driving business

8. Responsible for developing and maintaining rapport with key persons/ opinion makers of the village

9. Responsible for Mentoring team of BHs, CROs and SOs for achievement of asset and liability business

B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Business :

- To work with Business stakeholders- MFI and SFBs in harnessing the potential of the area

- To work closely with Credit and Ops to ensure timely sanctions and DB

- To focus on both asset and liability business

- Responsible for achievement of targets - SA, FD, RD and asset business(with fee income targets)

- Responsible for Cross Selling

- Responsible for containing IOD within threshold level

- Responsible for driving the team of BHs and Los

- Responsible for identifying the potential in the catchment areas and providing the feedback for new products

- Responsible for planning and organizing marketing activities.

Customer:

- To ensure that issues/ complaints raised by the customer are resolved within agreed TAT

- To work with the channels team for better cross-sell and customer satisfaction

- To ensure that loans are being processed within TAT

- To ensure customer grievance is addressed in time special senior citizens

Internal process:

- To drive cost efficiencies and ensure optimum productivity

- To facilitate process improvement taking into account the feedback of team on ground.

- To ensure the collection efficiency and containing PAR and IOD within threshold levels

- To ensure simplification of process on an ongoing basis

- Responsible for having an eye on cost control

- Responsible to focus on straight through process

Learning and Performance:

- Responsible for handholding the team

- Responsible for helping in customized training content in coordination with L&D team

- Responsible for nominating the BH for improving the skill sets in the areas of requirements

- Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of training on the overall performance of the team

C. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Desired Qualification : Graduate, preferably in Agri/Allied Sciences, Post-graduation/ PGDBA/MBA in Rural Management will be an added advantage

Desired Experience : Minimum 6-8 years of experience covering assets (agri and allied activity loans) and liability business in rural areas in a bank/ rural business focused NBFC
