Udaan - Transport Manager (5-8 yrs)
Description - Transport Manager needs to handhold entire pickup operations and seller operations of local-local food distribution. Suitable candidate should have prior experience of building and handholding team size of 20+ executives and managers. Also, problem solving aptitude for solving city level pickup and scale problems is a must.
Key responsibilities:
1) Monitoring and planning daily pickup operations across the city within defined SLA
2) Onboarding and training new drivers/transporters to be used for FM transportation
3) Handholding and monitoring team performance composed of operations manager, seller operations managers and executives
4) Maintaining good rapport with sellers and be the first point of contact for resolution around seller pickup issues
5) Understanding city level pickup operations and implement new processes around pickup to optimize overall FM cost
6) To work closely with Hub & WH team to settle any disputes arising due to stock mismatches during pickups
7) Ensuring payments and debits are raised on timely basis to driver partners and ensuring motivation and harmony among driver partners.
Experience - Worked in FM/LM role as Area/Cluster manager in E-com or as city/Area head in other transport aggregation platform for atleast 4-5 years
