MSME financing is a $380 Bn opportunity as per the World Bank. However, less than 10% of MSMEs have access to working capital loans from FIs and a majority of MSMEs receive invoice credit from their suppliers. A trade platform like udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.

Udaan Capital is bridging this gap by offering credit products for buyers and seller on and off the udaan platform.

Job Responsibilities

- Managing end to end credit activation (Checking for KYC, documents and customer onboarding as per prevalent Rules and regulations).

- Closing blockers and pendencies with sales and underwriting teams.

- Ensuring process are as per Policy and Compliance.

- Timely activation within defined TAT and quality.

- Highlight deviations to respective authority.

- Dealing with bureau data and regulatory reporting.

- Handling invoice financing process, payment failure, and interest reversal.

- Manage the disputes, payment reconciliation, line suspension, settlements relating to credit collection team.

KRAs of the role :

- Process Adherence & Improvement- Record keeping, SOP design, capacity utilisation and quality matrix, audits and compliance.

- Managing disbursal TAT - Manage TAT and lifecycle of the customer.

- Customer Service - Post disbursal customer queries & escalations, loan repayments and loan closure.

- Regulatory Reporting - Timely Bureau and CKYC reporting.

Functional competencies :

- Problem Solving: Should be able to coordinate with underwriting & sales teams to clear queries in a loan file. Should be able to highlight deviations proactively

- Team Management: Ensure tight execution of work within the team. Drive the team to complete things on time.

- Stakeholder Management: Proactive coordination with stakeholders to meet defined TAT and smooth processing of a loan file.

- Cross Functional Integration: Coordinate with internal teams to upgrade and enhance existing process & systems.

- Result Orientation: Drives team to generate impact and delivers on business decisions within scope of influence.

- Technical Expertise: Has operational depth of ground reality in lending processes.

Candidate Profile :

- Qualification required: Graduate/CA/CFA/MBA from a premier institute, preferably with experience in BFSI or Fintech industry

- Should have 4-7 years of experience in managing end to end loan operations for SME and other retail lending products like business loans or mortgages

- Must have regulatory knowledge around KYC, AML, compliance, payment Instrument, state laws and contract laws, dispute management etc

- Should have experience in managing teams, shared services operations and outsourced operations etc.

- Vendor management experience would be preferred
