MSME financing is a $380 Bn opportunity as per the World Bank. However, less than 10% of MSMEs have access to working capital loans from FIs and a majority of MSMEs receive invoice credit from their suppliers. A trade platform like udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.
Udaan Capital is bridging this gap by offering credit products for buyers and seller on and off the udaan platform.
About the Role :
The candidate would be part of the udaanCapital team that is building exciting working capital management products for small & medium businesses (SMBs). The flagship product - i.e udaanCapital app helps businesses manage their collections process and receive payments faster.
This candidate would play a central role in udaanCapital's journey to become a preferred working capital partner for SMBs. We are targeting SMBs - including manufacturers & traders across industries ranging from electronics, textiles, industrial, FMCG etc.
In this role, the key objective is to drive engagement/usage of udaanCapital app among customers (mostly sellers) through a combination of initiatives. The initiatives could be:
- Solving problems in unlocking non-linear growth,
- Combine problem solving, data analytics, customer insights, project management and drive execution of new initiatives.
- Develop innovative growth hacks to drive user growth and engagement through various channels and programs
- Analysing user journeys to identify actionable insights and recommendations, followed by quick experimentation via A/B testing on traffic/funnel enhancement to derive immediate impact on KPIs
- Developing an understanding of user personas through one-on-one customer interactions and secondary research to fuel all our marketing efforts
- Collaborate and work with various teams (design, content, acquisition, product and marketing) to implement experiments and roll out features on an ongoing basis
- Being a strong leader, customer champion, creative thinker and problem solver

Candidate Profile & Functional Competencies :
- Overall 4-6 years of experience with 3-5 years of work experience in - growth hacking/ digital marketing in a fast-paced tech organisation
- Experience of working with product-based companies will be preferred
- Understanding of financial products is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL and other analytics tools are a plus
- Proven ability to develop creative solutions for ambiguously defined problems
- Experience of designing and launching new business programs from scratch, from ideation phase through executive buy-in to post-launch optimization
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
