Udaan - Manager - Digital Merchandising/Promotions - FMCG (4-7 yrs)

Reporting - Go to Market(GTM) Manager.

- We are looking for both an analytical background and a demonstrated ability to drive execution and strategically understand customer behaviour w.r.t merchandising and discovery on the app. You will experience a wide range of problem-solving situations, strategic to real-time, requiring extensive use of data collection and analysis.


- You will have the opportunity to make a significant and direct impact on the quality of our in-app merchandising through quality evaluation, promotions, events on the app.


- You will be working and collaborating with the Category Managers, Product Managers and data scientists and are expected to bring innovative ideas and initiate processes to measure or resolve issues related to in-app and off app merchandizing.

Areas of Responsibilities

- Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present business recommendations that will help shape the direction of the merchandising strategy on the app.

- Design events, brand promotions, events to growth the category's top line and bottom- line.

- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.

- Drive data analysis in a variety of quantitative fields and build data and decision support systems

- Lead critical projects on improving efficiency of in-app merchandising by managing allocation framework

- Interpret the problem statements in a logical way or to define the problem statements in easily understandable ways for actionable discourses.

- Frequently conduct competitive analysis to identify competitive merchandising approach

- To collaborate with Business teams in understanding the respective discovery challenges and strategizing to manually intervene for discovery pains

- Liaison with Internal Ops team within the product teams and Category Teams for day to day operations

Desired Competencies:

- Understanding of FMCG as a business

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in field of digital problem solving, app events and promotions.
