Udaan Capital :

MSME financing is a $380 Bn opportunity as per the World Bank. However, less than 10% of MSMEs have access to working capital loans from FIs and a majority of MSMEs receive invoice credit from their suppliers. A trade platform like udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.

Udaan Capital is bridging this gap by offering credit products for buyers and seller on and off the udaan platform.

About the role :

We are looking for a young enterprising leader to manage the Receivables Management for udaan Capital. The individual will be responsible for accounting and reporting for Receivables for udaan Capital and other group companies. This role will involve monthly / quarterly reporting, reconciliations, compliance, audit, internal and external stakeholder management

Job Responsibilities :

- Ensuring correct accounting of revenue and corresponding accounts receivable

- Ensuring appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended.

- Designing, configurating and rolling out of new initiatives for bringing productivity and efficiency in the process

- Closing operational / month-end activities in accounting and reporting

- Performing reconciliations on borrower and lender settlements

- Perform Nodal accounts reconciliation.

- Adhere to RBI compliance requirements.

- Pursue automation opportunities, whenever possible

- Manage billing and dispute management process.

- Providing weekly/daily reports to lenders pertaining to disbursals and collections

- Performing Bank reconciliation and responding to ad-hoc reports.

Functional Competencies :

- Problem solving : The role needs the individual to be able to solve for a given business problem in some times an ambiguous state and with multiple data streams impacting decision making

- Data driven/ analytical : The role requires the individual to be comfortable in processing and analysing volume of multiple data streams to enable meeting company targets.

- Collaborative skills : The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams for inputs and reporting requirements. S/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment.

- Results orientation : The role is required to work on deliver on daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business and efficacy. Meeting these milestones would be critical to create success

Candidate Profile :

- 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in process oriented and high quality work environments.

- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree

- Preferred qualifications : MBA/M.com

- Experience in FinTech/ Banking / Telecom preferred

- Strong business and commercial acumen

- Excellent Excel knowledge and ability to navigate large volumes of data

- Should possess strong understanding in the areas of financial applications and accounting standards
