Key Account Manager


About the role :


- Partnerships is core to growing the Pharma business on Udaan and the Key Account Manager (KAM) will be part of the Partnerships Team in Pharma. This team is responsible for identifying, onboarding and managing pharma partners and seek areas of growth for Udaan as well as our partners.


- The team drives partners' growth mandates and ensures Udaan becomes a reliable and strategic ally. In this role you will be the key interface between Udaan and our partners and deliver a highly engaged, proactive, consistent and compelling growth story to pharma companies allowing Udaan to become their partner of choice.

What you will need :

- Prior experience of working with pharma or FMCG companies on demand/market-facing side

- Business Development experience in a pharma company considered big plus

- Account management expertise with companies of varied sizes

- Experience in hunting & farming (growing existing accounts YOY)

- Basic understanding of eCommerce marketplace / digital platform

- Analytical approach to solving partner problems

- Ability to Influence stakeholders across levels, functions and companies

- Polished and superior communication skills and high accountability

- Result orientation and a drive to meet goals and timelines

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing key accounts is a must

What you will do :

- Responsible for identifying, onboarding and managing pharma clients and manufacturers on Udaan platform

- Negotiate and secure favourable business terms with partners

- Co-create Joint Business Plans and market share expansion plans with internal cross functional teams

- Proactively engage with partners and align growth targets and execution details

- Review and Monitor execution on partner plans and raise red flags for timely course-correction

- Be up-to-date with Market insight, business seasonality, brand and competition strategies to be able to better advice partners

- Assess and track business performance and find opportunities to grow partner accounts

- Coordinate with teams from marketing, supply chain, finance, legal, commercial and others to ensure high quality partner experience

- Drive growth through innovation and new initiatives
