Job Purpose :
Udaan is looking for a smart, motivated, and self driven Regional Inventory Manager - Staples to drive the availability of Staples SKU's across its assets. This role will be responsible for ensuring availability via right PO placement as per lead times & Cycle times keeping Service levels & health of inventory is on top priority & debottlenecking the issues for short term as well for long term for lnstock, Working Capital, Vendor Fill rates & Vendor TATs.
- Maintaining right availability as per smart selection available with stakeholders & city leads to ensure warehouse space availability is not compromised with non-required inventory.
- He or she will have responsibility for ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around these processes from procurement to inwarding and payments.
- Key areas of focus include driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inventory availability: determining the availability metrics for the Category at City-vertical/sub vertical-SKU levels with respect to SKU norms & giving insights to replenishment teams for any gaps with short term/long term
- Manage inventory availability and inventory health including improved in-stock, turns, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time) and forecasting
- Integrate key lnstock metrics with broader business metrics to deliver optimal customer experience
- Have a complete understanding of end-to-end supply chain for Multiple Vendors and complex modeling of workflows

- Act as key point of contact between Retail, supply chain, and vendors
- Responsible for defining Operational strategy including product lifecycle management and optimizing sourcing recommendations/decisions.
- Drive metrics to improve efficiency including inventory replenishment, managing overstock inventory, and operational processes
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Inventory Management tools and an ability to work with technical teams to advocate for tool enhancements

Job Specifications :
Education: Graduate/MBA
Experience: 3-6 years
Relevant Profile:
- 3+years of experience and proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
- Professional experience in operations, inventory planning, demand forecasting, and/or product life
- Possesses strong analytical and numerical skills with strong experience of Excel, including Macros, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
- Experience working with high performing teams.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of flexibility and commitment Proven influencing abilities.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to roll up sleeves and dig deep to achieve goals. Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
