Tech & Product BU: A completely flat structure where engineers/designers/product managers/DS own problem statements end to end and are expected to self-manage. Role of an Engg/Designer/PM/Data scientist is identical, what exists is the different capability levels. A highly experienced person will work on problems with a wide amount of complexity and a wide amount of ambiguity. Whereas a person fresh from college will work on less complex problems. Key responsibilities: - Being a people person and the source of trust to employees and stakeholders - As a HRBP have 1:1 catch up regularly, gather insights, understand their concerns, and provide guidance where needed - Work closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention - Have an intimate understanding of the business and the structure and the philosophy. Being proactive in identifying the problems as we scale and come up with solutions - Constantly evolving the HR initiatives and frameworks that enable in bringing out the best in the employees - Collaborate with HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies - This individual will need to have the ability to influence across the business as well as with cross functional talent partners - Mange some of the large programs within Tech & Product - Employee Experience, Founder Interactions, Employee Communications Desired Characteristics: - Bachelors or Master's degree with specialization in HR - 3 to 4 years of experience as an HR professional - Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong understanding of how employee experience impacts culture, productivity, and retention - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Takes ownership and accountability for problem solving - Experience in program management - Strong excel skills
