About the role :

Presently Udaan is live across three categories - Food/FMCG, Clothing and Electronics, Pharma. We are looking at not only deepening our presence in them but also add other categories. In the business development role, one is expected to solution to simplify trade for businesses and make Udaan the default platform for B2B trade in India.

What you will do :

- Launch categories of businesses. Deeply understand the business dynamic, value chain and the network and identifying areas to solve and value add to businesses

- Identify problem statements and wear a product management hat to produce solutions along with engineers

- Build vendor base on supply and demand, devising marketing plans and own end to end execution

- Plan, execute and own numbers and P&L

- Work cross-functionally (operations, credit, engineering) to problem solve and solution the various needs of the business
