Udaan Capital : 

MSME financing is a $380 Bn opportunity as per the World Bank. However, less than 10% of MSMEs have access to working capital loans from FIs and a majority of MSMEs receive invoice credit from their suppliers. A trade platform like udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize & scale trade credit.

Udaan Capital is bridging this gap by offering credit products for buyers and seller on and off the udaan platform.

Job Responsibilities : 

- Underwriting trade credit for Seller & buyers (lending amount & period)

- Responsible for team of Associates and completion of timely credit appraisals

- Adhering to strict TAT for underwriting files

- Maintaining quality of underwriting as per SOP

- Recommending deviation cases to the higher level or approving authority as per delegation matrix

- Coordinating with vendor for verifications

- Managing internal stake holder

- No. of Files processed

- Delinquency Management

- TAT Management

- Managing Quality of Underwriting

- Vendor Management

Functional Competencies:

- Problem Solving: Resolution of overdue accounts by coordinating with a sales team. Coordination with Operations team for due/ overdue PDD process

- Team Management: Managing the team for prompt and quality credit processing across all the states in the Zone

- Stakeholder Management: Meet Customers to understand them better for better credit appraisal

- Cross-functional integration: Coordinate with sales and operations team for efficient functioning of the entire process

- People Skills: Ability to support peer group and mentor colleagues with lesser expertise/experience

- Decision making: Ability to make sound decisions making in area of expertise and see it to execution.

- Strong technical proficiency: Subject matter expertise in one or two sub-areas of area of expertise backed by practical experience

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: CA/MBA

- Must have a minimum 3 years of work experience in SME underwriting for products like Business Loans/Mortgages; prior experience in Fintech/NBFCs preferred

- Thorough understanding of SME Financing and Credit processes

- Good at market intelligence, should be able to provide inputs & feedback for policy and process improvement

- Eye for detail/Diligent Personality

- Should possess good knowledge on regulatory reporting
