- Should be a self - starter with high energy, willing to adapt in a fast-paced evolving work culture.
- Pitch, coordinate with national and regional media, manage event participation, organise press conferences, events, and press briefings
- Keep a tab on media movements to provide media intelligence - build and maintain relations with key industry media, print, digital and electronic
- Manage media queries - creating messaging, briefs, press releases, fact sheets, Q&A, reactive statements, quotes etc.
- Identify media opportunities in print, online and new media, ability to tell stories and to craft communication plans
- Experience in creating conversational copy for different target audiences
- Witty, mature and quick response management on behalf of leadership
- Ability to operate calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced environments
- Develop an engaging calendar aligned with corporate initiatives and manage public relations
- Assist in developing and implementing integrated internal and external corporate communication plans across the company to support functional and organizational goals
- Stay current with social & community engagement best practices and implement strategies to increase the reach and impact of content pieces
- Media monitoring and reports including results by measuring media impact of all PR activities
Requirements :
- Strong communication skills in English
- Good writing skills
- Understanding of digital and social media tools
- 4-6 years of start-up experience in B2B tech start-up
