Udaan - City Head - Food Business

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for sustaining and growing the city's revenues with P&L responsibilities.

- Maintain cost per kilo (CPK) as planned & analyse things from the profit and loss mindset

- The person should have leading the Operations team in delivering the best Customer experience while having a 360-degree view from employee Safety to Optimal utilization of resources

- Define and implement SCM strategy and objectives, providing quality and timely service to all the customers

- Assist management in matters pertaining to logistics operations activities, including strategic, tactical, business development and personnel

- Organize, lead, and manage Supply Chain Operations team in full accordance with Udaan's policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions

- Provide updates to management of project KPIs via the performance management unit

- Lead the identification of continuous improvement processes and opportunities and ensure timely implementation within the Operations team and in coordination with other teams (i.e. finance and IT), including adequate tools and system

- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities across supply chain operations

- Oversee and work towards improvement of fulfilment processes and adherence to company policies

- Oversee and work towards improvement of supplier performance, transportation routes and load management etc

- Provide regular reports to the management on the progress and improvements of the business

- Proactively lead and empower the supply chain operation managers to encourage operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Professional

- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning/control, Warehouse management & Operations, LM, FM, Transportation etc.)

- Strong analytical thinking, Problem-solving approach

- Good leadership skills and ability to lead a large-scale operations and entire city ops team
