Udaan Capital is the NBFC arm of Udaan & offers credit services to buyers and sellers on and off Udaan's B2B ecommerce platform to grow their business further. This space is largely untapped with less than 10% of MSMEs having access to working capital loans from financial institutions. In this way, Udaan is uniquely positioned to formalize &scale trade credit.

Job Responsibilities:

- End to end P&L management for the business unit

- Business Planning / Budgeting: Understanding core business levers & creating bottoms up/ top down monthly & annual operating plans

- Collaborate with Business Head & the team to develop strategy for financial optimization of category

- In-depth analysis of the overall financial and operational performance (Financial, Operational, Marketing, Sales, etc.), identify red flags and propose ways to bridge them

- Setting up financial controls to ensure cost optimization and revenue maximization from efforts pertaining to the design, launch and day-to-day execution of the category

- Own the execution of plans made from analytical exercises to ensure findings are actioned upon and continuous feedback is collected and utilized to fine-tune the approach

- Track performance against plan, provide performance insights with detailed recovery actions for gaps

- Build dashboards/coherent scorecards to drive strategic thinking in the category

- Recommend business actions, define strategies and drive initiatives through business stakeholders to achieve top line & bottom line targets

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive business and improve processes

- Prior experience in is Apparel/Lifestyle business either in ecommerce space or in traditional retail preferred

Candidate Profile :

- Must have 2-5 years of demonstrated experience of working in process oriented and high-quality work environments.

Position 1 - BTech/BSc/Mathematical UG Degree

Position 2 - CA

- Experience in start-up/ E-Commerce preferred.

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

- Strong business and commercial acumen.

- Excellent Excel and SQL knowledge and, ability to navigate large volumes of data. Knowledge of R/Python will be an added advantage.

- Strong Financial modelling and Data Visualization skills.

- Strong communication, analytical and inter-personal skills.

- Knowledge of financial statements will be an added advantage.
