We're looking for someone like that to: - lead and mentor a team of experienced internal IT auditors, all of whom will be carrying out a mixture of audit project management and fieldwork activities, as well as ongoing detailed risk assessments in IT aspects of specific business areas such as Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Market Risk, HR, Investment Bank, Wealth Management etc - lead audits to consistently high standards and deliver complex/difficult messages to senior UBS management, winning cooperation and support for effective issue remediation. - perform a hands-on role both by managing and participating in high profile audits, whilst also managing the productivity and development needs of a team - engage pro-actively with stakeholders, building relationships based on transparency and trust - monitor the results, risk profile and developments within Group Technology as part of the macro risk assessment and continuous risk assessment processes - work as a lead or team member on regional and global audits which may cover a wide range of technology topics, including vulnerability and patch management, intrusion detection and incident response, data protection, logging and monitoring, change and release management, identity management and access control, IT governance, technical IT Infrastructure, as well as application controls designed to mitigate business risks, - conduct technology application reviews and audits in specific business areas such as Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Market Risk, HR, Investment Bank, Wealth Management etc - identify and assess operational and emerging risks relevant to the IT functions and technology risks assumed by the business - identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address those risks, provide practical, innovative and value-added solutions to issues identified - review remediation actions submitted by the business for closure to assess whether these have addressed the relevant original risks - successfully collaborate with peers in and across audit teams Your expertise : You have: - a university degree, preferably within IT, - several years of relevant experience in IT, technology risk management or internal control areas related to technology, - significant experience in managing and mentoring teams in IT, technology risk management or internal control areas related to technology - previous audit experience in infrastructure audit or in application audit in one or more business / technology areas within the financial industry, - strong analytical skills and quantitative approach to problem solving - you are able to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identify risks and inadequacies in procedures, as well as propose practical and sustainable solutions, - considerable understanding of banking business / operations, including relevant regulations, - strong analytical skills, able to quickly understand complex processes, identify risks and inadequacies in procedures, as well as propose practical and sustainable solutions - excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at different levels of an organization both verbally and in writing, together with the ability to multi-task effectively and deliver multiple complex assignments to time and budget - the ability to deliver consistently high quality written output including contribution to risk assessments, governance reports and audit reports and issue documents You are: - a proven and committed leader with a track record of coaching and inspiring team members to achieve their potential - a flexible and committed team player willing to travel to other UBS locations for audit assignments, - reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues - able to prioritize and balance your own and a team's workload - you have strong time management skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision - fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills - excellent communicator, able to effectively communicate at different levels of an organization verbally and in writing - risk focused, and capable of using data analytics, - curious and willing to discover all aspects of the bank, with the ambition to advance your career in an international environment
