Job Description  Your role   Are you passionate about the financial markets- Are you an innovator who loves to solve problems- We are looking for someone to use their expertise and join UBS team in Pune  - Independently verify the valuation of the Bank's equity derivative and other trading portfolios  - Independently verify the valuation of the Bank's collateral positions  - Ensure that appropriate reserves are calculated given the nature and risks of the portfolio  - Report on the accuracy of reserves and valuations to senior management  - Develop improved testing and analysis processes, based on understanding of the business and positions  - Review and management any work performed by a 3rd party strategic partner.  - Will be integral to the identification and resolution of global valuation related issues ranging from those originating within the Organization and from external regulatory bodies.  - Build strong working relationships within all key areas within the organization, including the trading desks, trade support and business unit controllers  Your team   The role will be in the UBS Valuations team based in Mumbai and functionally support Equity Valuation Control teams globally.   India team will jointly work with Onshore to execute processes while Onshore will perform final review of the work.  Your experience and skills   You have:  - Bachelors or Master's Degree in Finance/ Engineering/ Mathematics from an institute of repute.   - Strong analytical skills demonstrated by Maths / science qualifications  - Aptitude for computing applications, including Excel, VBA and Access  - Experience of IPV work (especially equities)  - Strong understanding of basic concepts of pricing derivatives and risks associated  - Knowledge of Cash equities and equity derivative products  You are:  - a great communicator, you know how to speak with people at all levels   - a team player  - creative with ability to develop new ideas and initiatives  - proactive and can take ownership of issues and work in a dynamic and often unsupervised environment
