Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune Team The KYC Operations team will assist the client-facing teams to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and will ensure high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence. The Team will assist in end to end operational activities through the periodic renewal process of all clients. The KYC Operations team will assist with the drafting and gathering of client documents and verification of client data via publically available and internal sources at a client level This research is performed to ensure a client's KYC profile is appropriately updated and any discrepancies or issues with the profile escalated to the appropriate lines of business. Training & Internal Advisory - Design a training programme for KYC reviews and Business including but not limited to new hire trainings, ongoing refresher courses and targeted training sessions due to new requirements or findings arisen from audit or compliance testing - Create training materials appropriate to the training audience and conduct in-classroom and virtual trainings to KYC periodic reviews - Design a knowledge management framework that allows different ways of disseminating knowledge across KYC periodic reviews - Act as an AML KYC subject matter expertise and provide internal advisory KYC reviews and Client lifecycle Management CLM) on any unclear operational guidance arisen from the procedures or policies Quality Assurance & Controls - Perform quality assurance checks on the post KYC production files - Ensure the quality of the tested samples are aligned with the internal and local/global AML/KYC requirements - Identify learning points from the quality assurance controls and feed into the training and knowledge management programme Transformation Programme - Lead and contribute to the procedures & training transformation work stream Profile Technical Skills - experience and demonstrated practical knowledge of AML and KYC regulations (e.g. US, FCA, HKMA & MAS) and/or CAMS certified or equivalent - experience in procedure writing / training delivery to an audience over 20 people - experience in an investment bank or capital market, multi-cultural organisation - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Demonstrated analytical abilities and control mindset - Confident in presenting and communicating to people at all levels and from different teams - Proficient in Word - Proficient in PowerPoint - Experience in transformation projects / change initiatives Competencies - Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and challenge the status quo - Ability to work in a dynamic and high pressure environment - Rigor, self-starter, pro-active and solution-oriented - Act ethically, display commitment and demonstrate consideration for others - Eager to learn and willing to work on a variety of assignments - Ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic environment - Good judgement (analysis and client & controls focused) - Escalate timely, identify priorities and address difficult situations with autonomy - Team player and promote knowledge share About UBS Expert advice.
