1. JOB DETAILS:

Position Title: Business Process Lead

Reports to: Business Process Owner

Department: Business Solution

Function: Technology

2. JOB PURPOSE:

To deliver an effective process management service for several business initiatives by providing a techno-functional lead role to various business functions and retail operations globally and assist to create best possible processes using in-depth business analysis and lead multi-diversified project management team for a global objective oriented programs.

Description :

- Lead team to meet decision makers, systems owners, and end users (on demand) to define, business and functional process mapping.

- Lead the design session in prototyping new systems for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.

- Collaborate, participate and contribute in development, designing of new application and enhancement of existing applications.

- Develop customer business process surveys, analyze data, identify patterns/trends by giving feedback regarding Area for Improvement.

- Conduct research on best practices for conducting Business process analysis and design.

- Create and propose process design plans proactively to the technology leads and identify the analysts for the BPRE units to work for detailed analysis on selected key processes to offer better outputs.

- Ensure, the team creates process models, specifications, and charts to provide directions to system programmers.

- Lead and perform in-depth tests, including the end to end-user reviews, for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of requirements captured.

- Design roadmaps and process flow charts of all major processes of the organization and conduct analysis to bring out best practices

- Establish business assessment procedure, for multiple & critical applications. Work as Domain expert in the cross-functional meetings and advice core application models accordingly.

- Lead team for system requirement, a study of the processes in the organization, identify and remove redundant & duplicate processes, risks, dependencies and lead/track all change initiatives yielding better efficiencies.

- Create and execute project work plans and scope documents and manage projects, prepare and lead the project team, project elaborations to information technology and other functions and ensure concurrence to develop and deploy projects globally.

- Mentor and Develop business analysis skills within the unit to develop an efficient talent pool.

Performance Indicators :

- Process Mapping docs, workflows & Program charter

- SOPs / policy and project documents, Survey results. Training manuals and ROI output data

- BPR Documents, R & D outputs, Minutes & plans

- Use cases, BA documents, Functional interviews

- Training docs, Skill matrix sheet. Domain-specific sessions.

- Program Chart, Control board updates, Minutes. Project Management Office updates Process maps and workflows

5. JOB CONTEXT: A general commentary of any aspects of the job that do not fit logically in the other sections e.g. current projects, operating context/environment :

- Resource (lean project management challenges)

- Moving targets (Modified objectives, scope changes, immediate new market entry etc)

- Extensive travel and meeting schedules (screening, monitoring, contribution)

6. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Define what is communicated to whom and why :

Internal : GHQ Functions, Regional and country-specific retail units - for project roles, process analysis roles, Domain management, best practice sharing, assist and guide process implementation and corrections.

External : Vendors, Service providers, and Partners under a regulated environment of Business Process Owner.

7. FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY: Define the nature of policy/procedure/instruction constraints and the nature of reporting relationships with the boss as well as any relevant financial sign-off authorities

8. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Define the skills, knowledge and experience specific to the job in question (includes generic skills) :

- Graduate / Post graduate with additional certification in Business Analysis and IT Technology.

- 3-5 years of experience in an ICT (Information Communication Technology) company as a business analyst or 3 years- experience as a Domain expert / Process Lead in retail/banking financial institution.

- Financial domain expertise will be an added advantage

- Certified project management/process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, PMP etc.).

- Deft in handling multiple projects and team management skills(Multitasking)

- High order of information processing and analytical decision making.

- High documentation & Communication skills.

- Interpersonal skills

9. COMPETENCIES: Behavioural competencies :
