Position Title : Assistant Manager - Taxation
Reports to : Associate Director - Taxation

JOB PURPOSE :
Assistant Manager - Taxation
The resource shall primarily be responsible for handling the Transfer Pricing related compliance obligations of UAE Exchange group including assisting the reporting manager in conducting the tax research, planning and structuring the cross border inter company transactions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Description :
As a member of taxation team, the resource shall play key role in :
- Advising on the transfer pricing planning aspects of inter-company arrangements
- Monitor and analyze existing and proposed tax legislation and define and implement appropriate global strategies
- Prepare / review transfer pricing documentation reports
- Prepare and Maintain the CbC Reporting and Master file of group companies
- Collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and reporting results and recommendations
- Analyzing the OECD BEPS action plans and formulating the tax strategies to manage the impact
- Assist with audits / providing tax controversy support
- Reviewing the inter-company and third-party agreements

JOB CONTEXT :
Taxation team of UAE Exchange at GHQ and SSC supports the top management and group companies in designing the tax policies, managing the M&A activities, structuring the cross-border transactions, managing the day to day compliance and handling the tax controversy.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :
Internal : GHQ and country finance, internal controls, operations and HR departments.
External : Researchers, Consultants, auditors, regulators and revenue authorities.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY :
Financial and Non-financials items are monitored through DOAM and IPN approval process.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS :
1. Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2 or 3 years- experience in Transfer Pricing
2. Considerable knowledge of managing functional analyses interviews to identify and assess clients & cross-border intercompany transactions.
3. Excellent administration, communication & analytical skills.
