Director - M&A / Investor relationship


- Originate and lead the entire M&A deal lifecycle e.g deal origination to closure, transaction, screening, proposals, pitch-books, industry research, precedent transactions and comparative valuation analysis, opportunity papers, Information Memorandums, Financial models etc.

- Support equity raise and M&A due-diligence and transaction execution

- Should have Strong exposure working in a Transaction (M&A) Advisory or Corporate Finance environment

- Should have worked on Financial model builds and has working knowledge of valuation techniques, e.g. DCF, Peer relative valuation analysis

- Must have Strong numerical skills and understanding of basics of financial reporting - P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements

- Thorough knowledge of handling international subsidiaries & joint venture operations, M&A, fund raising, Global Accounting, international taxation, international laws & compliance, financial analysis, due diligence, commercial acumen, etc

- Strong research experience in BFSI / Fintech / Start - up's preferably in an M&A environment

- Analyze company positioning in market sizing for partnership opportunities

- Set up hypothesis-driven growth experiments and analyze results

- Responsible for investors relationship managements

- Support strategic business planning, financial analysis, and project management for growth opportunities in line with our business goals

- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including experience building/ understanding financial models and valuing companies

Desired Profile :

- CA / CFA with MBA (top tier colleges)

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ability to work independently and in a team

- Self-motivated and proactive

- Experience: 12+ years in consumer internet, Insurance or SaaS domain start up's

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Prior experience of successful IPO launch

- Problem solving ability, out of the box thinker

- Proven track records in merger and acquisitions

- Outstanding written/oral communication and attention to detail
