I. Responsibilities : - Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, compliance, deductions, taxes and third party payments) - Responsible for statutory compliance (TDS, Gratuity, ESIC, PT, PF etc). - Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies - Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits - Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions employees. - Manage Full and Final settlement of employees - Handling income tax related matters. Monitoring investment declaration form and verifying with original proofs. - Looking after ETDS filing on quarterly basis, handling income tax queries of employees in payroll Preparing yearly tax return (Annex I and Annex II); generating Form 16, and Form 24 ETDS on quarterly basis and revising the return if required. - Responsible for handling the entire HR operations. II. Requirements : - Proficient in Excel & Spreadsheet - People oriented and results driven - Excellent management skills - In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices - Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
